Currently Dr. Wasson is the only provider who accepts insurance (listed below). Please be sure to verify provider status when making appointment inquiries.

  • Blue Cross & Blue Shield (New Directions)
  • United Health Care/Optum Health
  • UMR
  • TriCare

We are considered an out-of-network with all other insurance providers.

If your provider does not currently accept your insurance, we can provide you with a Superbill and you can submit it to your health insurance company for reimbursement independently. Alternately, we would also be more than happy to submit an out-of-network claim on your behalf. We cannot guarantee that it will be approved depending on diagnoses they cover or what they deem as a medical necessity however, in many instances you will be reimbursed for a significant portion of what you have paid and costs will be applied to deductibles.

To find out about your insurance plan and coverage please reference your insurance policy or call your insurance company to ask the following questions about your mental health coverage for an in network and out of network provider.

  • What is my deductible? (how much you have to pay out of pocket before insurance kicks in)
  • What is my copay?
  • What are my in-network vs. out-of-network benefits?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What diagnoses are covered?
  • Is a referral required from my primary care physician?

Therapy/Counseling is an investment of time and money into yourself, your relationships, and your wellbeing.

  • Initial session will be 60 minutes
  • Individual therapy sessions are 45-60 minutes
  • Group therapy sessions are 60-75 minutes
